Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Browse our online inventory or request a specific car from the Japanese auctions. Once you find a vehicle, send an inquiry to receive a Proforma Invoice with the total cost.

No. Most of our clients complete the entire process online. We provide detailed photos, inspection reports (Auction Sheets), and videos to ensure you know the vehicle’s condition before purchasing.
Yes! We have access to over 100,000 vehicles weekly through Japanese dealer auctions. Tell us your preferred make, model, year, and budget, and our agents will bid on your behalf.

Payment & Pricing

We primarily accept Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) to our corporate bank account in Japan. For some regions, we may accept Letters of Credit (L/C) or PayPal for small deposits.
  • FOB (Free On Board): Includes the car price and all costs to get it onto the ship in Japan.
  • C&F (Cost and Freight): Includes FOB plus the ocean freight to your destination port.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): Includes C&F plus marine insurance for the voyage.
Our invoices clearly state the vehicle price and shipping fees. Import duties, local taxes, and clearing agent fees in your country are the buyer’s responsibility.

Shipping & Documentation

Usually, it takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on your destination. This includes 1–2 weeks for booking a vessel and 2–5 weeks for transit time at sea.
You will receive the Export Certificate (Japanese De-registration title), Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading (B/L), and Inspection Certificate (if required by your country).
  • RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off): The cheapest method; cars are driven onto a specialized vessel.
  • Container: The car is secured inside a 20ft or 40ft container. Safer for high-value cars or multiple cars/parts

Vehicle Condition & Quality

An Auction Sheet is an official inspection report used in Japan. It grades the car from 1 to 5 (or S) and notes any scratches, dents, or mechanical issues. We can help you translate these reports.
Japan has strict laws against odometer fraud. The Export Certificate lists the mileage recorded during the last two mandatory Japanese inspections (Shaken), providing a verifiable history.
These are used vehicles sold “as-is.” However, we perform a pre-shipment inspection to ensure the engine, transmission, and electronics are in working order.

Legality & Compliance

Regulations (age limits, steering side, emissions) vary by country. We recommend checking with your local customs office or a clearing agent before making a deposit.
